Julie is proving to be a star in her French course getting lots of 100's on her tests. She has also been assigned to advanced seminar which gives her time during school to work on whatever she wants due to her outstanding performance.
Class President Joe was presented an award today for his outstanding achievement on his summer job and was also given a hat by the women at the University of MD college here on the base.

It is no small wonder that these kids are doing so well. Julie and Joe I am very proud of both of you. Keep up the good work, with education and perspiration comes success. Nothing worth having will you find easy, but with a good educational base you have something that can't be taken away and some thing solid to build on.

Julie, I took 5 years of French and love the language! Being in Europe, you have the advantage of coming in contact with French speaking people. Make sure you speak it a lot as well as learn all the fun grammer stuff. Good Job! Joe, class president...I remember those days :) Proud of you both!
