A sad day for America

Unfortunately, congress passed the health care bill last night. Hopefully something will happen to physically make it impossible for that communist monkey they call the President from signing it.

All is not lost - the Commonwealth of VA is going to sue to stop it. It is unconstitutional to force Americans to buy insurance. They have my support!!

Rick I am keeping a close watch on thing related to Health Care. Look at your problems with the system you have in GB and look at the blog from Sandy and how she had to handle them in NZ. You watch what happens when or "efficient Government" starts handling health care. 17000 IRS agents added to the role for IRS enforcement of the penalties, 40 % tax on premiums of course the Unions are exempt from the tax. No tax to middle incomes but this is smoke and mirrors as the 40% will be past on to the consumer. 85% of every premium must be paid in claims. No other industry has been regulated to the extent as the Feds are regulating health insurance. When it is all said and done and you read the bill you will find in neither bill and the one that past is the"cost of Health Care" reduced. That is not an opinion that is a fact. All Obama has done is redistribute who and how it is going to be paid for and that is a fact.
Now on a personal note The termite that is our "first lady" while obama was campaigning said and I quote "this is the first time in my life that I am proud to be an American". Well I can understand how she feels because as I love the USA this is the first time I have been embarrassed of my president and congress and this is the first time I have witnessed the arrogance of a president like obama.
You may note I have not capitalized his name and I will not as a means of civil disobedience until he earns not only my respect but my trust.
He will answer for the lies and deceit and back room deals and bribes, but my concern is for our kids and what they will grow up with. What will America look like in their adulthood, I am afraid for them, truly afraid.
Also did you notice that after all the promises of transparency which did not happen and the promise of you can have what we have, which is not the case. congress has exempt themselves for having to comply to the now law of the land. In my research I also found several other exemptions for congress for instance they are protected form prosecution for sexual harassment on the job. It is little things like this that speaks to the character of lack there of in congress. This is an obvious admission that they have no morals and their behaviours or lack of it is permissible while we peons are held to a higher standard. And if they did not sexually harass why would need protection thus they must. See what I mean I could go on with example right down to the one gallon flush toilet exemption for congress, where does that take your mind.

Jim,
It really has become a "them" and "us" system in the US. We had a revolution once in this country. I hope our grandchildren don't have to face another one. Our country is run by rich, privileged snobs who haven't got a clue. They hate everything that is righteous. They are trying to take our freedoms all away from us. Just like Satan, they are trying to take away our agency to choose for ourselves. THIS is the spirit of anti-Christ. It isn't just one man. I'm believing that it's the whole, darned democratic party. This nation is supposed to be a Republic, one nation under God. We never were developed as a democracy. God inspired our fore-fathers - not the ancient democracies like Greece. Look where they are now!!!!! As far as I am concerned we are back to taxation without representation. I don't know a single sole who is for socialized medicine!!!!!
