While Eileen is sunning herself, I'll be having my shoulder surgery on my left shoulder. I could be distressed but I am an optomist - I think the Lord is having me get all of my warn out parts repaired before Obama totally ruins the American system!
Anyway, please remember me in your prayers.
Barry and I were in Salt Lake City on Easter Sunday for our church's General Conference. It was such a wonderful opportunity. Hearing the Mormon Tabernacle
Choir in person was indescribable!!!! Even with all of those thousands of people in the conference center, the choir sounded like you were listening to them on a Bose headset. It was just so uplifting to be there in person.
On the way into the conference center, there were a handful of "anti-Mormon" protesters - they were pentacostals shouting at us that we were going to hell. I wonder if they do this to other faiths. Anyway, I felt sorry for them - they are so ill-informed. I wonder why they weren't in church lol. The thousands of people going into the conference center paid no attention to them.
I hope everyone had an uplifting and spirit filled Easter.

Hi Aunt Debbie!
Sorry about the surgery..but you'll feel so much better when it's all fixed!
I watched the Sunday session of conference on a small tv in the chapel...and even there the choir was amazing. Where you at the session where they had the audience sing with the choir? "I know that my Redeemer lives"? Really touching!
I said i'd keep you updated...saw the gastro this morning. All the blood tests he sent away for were normal..you'll be happy to know my poos are normal too! Soooo no answers yet. He sent away for me to have an MRI of my liver/pancreas but he listed it as 'semi-urgent'..which means since i'm not going to die in the immediate future ....i'm likely to wait quite a long time to have it.
I dont have 'primary biliary cirrhosis...or it might be sclerosis...soo that's really good. Other than that .....nothing conclusive in the tests!
I'll pray for you..you pray for me! Deal??!!!
Love you heaps (i did look for you in the crowd...what did you do about lunch? or were you fasting?)
love ya,
me
Sandy,
I'm glad to hear you have normal poo!!! I know Mommom is proud!!!!! lol
We did sing with the choir - so now I can say that I sang with the mORMON tAB cHOIR AND i WON'T BE LYING!!!!!Sorry, I hit my caps lock and I'm too lazy to fix it. We actually walked from out hotel room to the conference center. We didn't fast - We had a big breakfast and that served us just fine.
I will pray for you, of course but I know you will be fine.
Love ya bunches!!
Aunt Debbie
well...to say that my poo is 'normal' is a bit of an overstatement...what I meant was that when they tested it (eww) it showed no signs of inflammation in my bowels.
now as for the 'consistency' of my poo...well that's a different story entirely!
Much like Mommom, I could go on if you're interested! lo
we're all disturbed you know!
Love and hugs,
Sandy
You Lavertys! Rick is in the hospital at this very moment recovering from surgery on his left shoulder. He is very excited because he was able to lift his arm over his head for the first time in two years today! I hope yours goes equally well.
Rick I hope yo are doing better. Sandy too much poo talk. Lets face it you are part Laverty and for that you will enjoy years of great poo. Debby what's the deal. I guess we all had our gall bladders out and now we are looking to make the shoulder a Laverty club as well.
Jim
