Belated Father's Day

I hope everyone has a spouse as wonderful as the one I have (your sister ). Hope everyone appreciates their father whether they are here or up above Eileen and I are spending a lot of time with my folks as they move from their home of 37 years to a wheelchair accessible patio home. This is quite an experience. My dad is pretty old school and has raised me with a pretty stern hand as was customary for his generation. Now I'm in a position to do things for him that he never would have done for me or requested of me. It's a big pain in the neck a lot of the time, and pretty rewarding a lot of the time. All I know is that by the time we get to Branson, I'll be in major need of a vacation. It's interesting the things life throws at us...I guess the fun is in figuring out what we're going to do with it.

Hey Bro, or is that bro-in-law. I feel your pain. Dealing with older parents is very trying. We have been helping Pam's Mother and Brother though all of this. Now her Cousin is in a assisted living facility that is closing and after maybe 10 years in a place she loved she is having to relocate. This stuff is hard on the elderly. It is also real hard on the kids.
I am glad you you had a good Fathers day, but mine was as good. Jamie and Pam took me to Suicide Bridge for dinner, and gave me tickets for Willey Nelson, and all three of us are going. And to top it all off a battery operated weed wacker, what could be better.
