Relay for Life

I have to brag about my amazing little girl! Lexie walked 3 miles in 100 degree weather in memory of Mommom this weekend! The Relay for Life was held at Redwing Park this weekend in Virginia Beach. The track was 1 mile long and Lexie completed 3 full laps! Although you may not be able to tell by the picture there were candles lit in the bags in memory of Mommom and Poppop.
Love you all!

Lexie, Your Great Aunt Eileen is so very proud of you! I know Great Grandpa and Great Grandmom have smiles in heaven over you. Three miles is a very long way to walk! It's amazing what we can do when love is what is pushing us forward. You are a special girl and I can't wait to see you again. Love you bunches, Aunt Eileen

Lexie and Treena, This was such a nice and caring thing to do. I am so proud of both of you. It is so wonderful to see people caring and sharing, and especially to know they are my family! I can't wait to see you either. Hugs and loves, Mom (Mommom)

Pam and I just got back from vacation, we just saw this post this morning, sorry for the late reply.
We too are very proud of you Lexie. That is a long way to walk and we know "Curly Headed Grandma" and Great Grand Pop are very proud of you.
Treena and Bruce, This is a testimony of the great job you are doing as parents. Keep it up guys, you got a good girl there.
