I have to brag about my amazing little girl! Lexie walked 3 miles in 100 degree weather in memory of Mommom this weekend! The Relay for Life was held at Redwing Park this weekend in Virginia Beach. The track was 1 mile long and Lexie completed 3 full laps! Although you may not be able to tell by the picture there were candles lit in the bags in memory of Mommom and Poppop.

Lexie, Your Great Aunt Eileen is so very proud of you! I know Great Grandpa and Great Grandmom have smiles in heaven over you. Three miles is a very long way to walk! We too are very proud of you Lexie. That is a long way to walk and we know "Curly Headed Grandma" and Great Grand Pop are very proud of you.
