Did anyone get my e-mail sent about 3 weeks ago letting you know that due to job loss and surgery with a 6 month recovery time followed by another surgery, with the same recovery time, it is unlikely we will be able to attend. In fact, I shared that we could not attend, but haven't heard from any one. Even if I have a job by then - and if I don't we are in mega trouble - I won't have vacation built up. Since then, John has had to see a cardiologist, and has an appt with a surgeon for an unrelated problem in 2 weeks. His heart, thank the gods and goddesses is healthy. But, things are really snowballing on us right now. I just do not know what to do. And my unemployment hinges on exactly how my surgeon writes my return to work letter - their form, not the letter he gave me! I'd give up but I'm too darn stubborn.
On another note - I'm happy Hannah is well. Bruce will be doing another cruise soon - Persian Gulf again, I don't know. Treena will be moving to Delaware while he's gone and until they have a new duty station. That's all the news I have. Namaste all!

We got your message and I wished you well concerning your surgeries. I pray you find a job and John gets well. But I'll pray to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There are not goddesses, no fairies, and we are told to not have false gods before us. It is written in the Bible, the inspired word of God. I pray you will look to Him that gave you life and stop looking to other beings e.g. mother earth and alike. To find true happiness you need to abandon all these false doctrines and get in touch with God. He is the only living God and he loves you and me equally. You can't earn your way or buy your way to heaven. You only need accept him as your Lord and saviour.
I say this not to be mean, insult or create hatred. I say all of this because I, we, love you.

Thank you for your concern and insights. I have been doing a lot of reading and research and have found my true home among the Earth Based religions - back to my Celt and Native American roots, as it were. BTW- the term "gods and goddesses" is used to reference the many aspects of the divine or the One truth. So don't worry. I'm good. Take care and enjoy your vacation.

ok, my beloved - equally- brats! I should have been more precise. Those contributing to the large investment in the villa did not respond to the monetary loss. Then I got the email indicating aunt Eileen had laid out $3000.00
She hadn't received my email. That is what I was focusing on! Oh, my poor deluded children. When you weren't calling me "mummy dearest" you were calling me the earth mother. Must admit, Sandypants said it best (sorry Treefrog), "My favorite geriatric hippies." Although I do object to 'geriatric'. John and I ain't dead yet and can still embarrass you - intentionally while we dribble pablum onto your clothing...hehehe.
Oh, and Sandy - you ARE my favorite golden child.

Okay, stop before you make me puke! All this love stuff has got to stop. Lyn, you used to threaten me with a belt when I was a child, Sandy, you showed up in a diaper and nothing else at my swim meet when I was a teenager (okay, maybe that was Grandmom & Grandpop's fault, but still) and Treena, you tried to steal the thunder by being born just prior to my first child (okay, maybe that was your mom & dad's fault)but you're all still just a bunch of Laverty's and we all have to live with that! ; )
