I know how excited everyone is so I'll get right to it. =-)
1) I am a Christian. I asked Christ to come into my life a little over a year ago and I assure you all that it makes a difference.
2) I love to cook. I make a mean chili and my turkey is usually moist but I'm not above making a hamburger in the microwave.
3) I take after Mom. I like to debate and I stand up for my values and morals.
4) I'm a nerd. I play Magic the gathering and I go to tournaments. Liss calls them "nerdaments."
5) I am an avid reader. I read philosophy, the Bible, biographies and science fiction and fantasy.
6) I am really into Star Wars. I own, and have read, about 50 novels. I play a boardgame called Star Wars Miniatures. It's a blast! The movies are good too.
7) I met my wife at a funeral. I was a pallbearer and she was an alter girl. She was wearing a white robe from the neck to her ankles and she had punky red and black hair. She looked so beautiful, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her.
8) I have two great kids. Evan Michael was born Sept. 11, 2004 and Macie Lynn was born June 27, 2006. They are a handful but they are my life.
9) I like to build things. Evan and I are still working on a fort down by the river. It's a quiet place and we like to go there to look at the animals and play army men and fun stuff like that. We built a snow fort which unfortunately fell on top of me.
10) I watch the O'Reilly Factor just about every day.
11) I like to shoot stuff. I shoot targets in my in-laws front yard. It's a great big yard with lots of trees. I prefer open sights to scopes because I can never hit anything using a scope. Wierd.
12) I cry watching movies sometimes. Liss likes to make fun of me. She hands me the kleenex and puts her arm around me.
13) I play frisbee golf when it's nice out. Everyone should try it. Jimmy went with Evan and me last year. It was a blast.
14) I got married on Sept. 14, 2001. Liss and I had made plans to go to Canada but the border was closed. So we went to scenic Fargo for our honeymoon. Yay.
15) I think Eric Clapton is a better guitar player than Jimmy Herdrix.
16) I like video games. I still have my regular Nintendo. I also have a plug and play Star Wars game. The joystick is the Millenium Falcon. Totally cool.
17) I live with two super heros. Evan is usually Spider-Man although he can be Batman or Iceman. Macie is Firestar. It's a great feeling being so well protected.
18) I won a cribbage tournament in the 8th grade.
19) I abhor cooked celery. It's Sandy's fault.
20) People usually think I'm a tough guy but I'm not. I'm actually sensitive and I'm a romantic. I write love letters to Liss and put them in her lunch bag. I've written her poems and a song.
21) I'm very protective of my family.
22) I love being a dad. I take that job very seriously. I love my kids.
23) I like to play hockey. I never played in school but I play at the outdoor rinks in town. It's a lot of fun. I'm teaching Evan how to skate. I made a little rink on the river where we practice. He's getting better.
24) I just read on the internet that hot water freezes faster than cold water under most conditions. My dad always said that but I never believed him. I googled it and there's actually a name for it. Crazy.
25) I open the car door for Liss. I hold doors for people wherever I go. There's not enough of that anymore. I try to be a gentleman. I also try and set a good example for my kids and even random people who see it.
Well that's it I guess.

btw...I'd LOVE it if MY car door got opened once in a while! lol Nathan is cute..but he never does that!
In Walla Walla one time we had cooked celery with supper. I said I didn't like it but Grandma said I had to eat it or I wouldn't get dessert. You told me to put salt on it. I did but I still didn't like it. You then told me to put some pepper on it. I did but I still didn't like it. Of course more salt would make it taste better you said. And so on and so forth until my cooked celery was caked in salt and pepper. I ate it because I wanted dessert. You know what I got?? ONE OREO?! I was traumatized! Since then I can't even stand the smell of celery.
Hey Mike! Nice list!! And frisbie golf was fun even if I hardly hit the target. I look forward to doing it again. Maybe we could have a family reunion frisbie gold game - so bring your frisbies.
I'm hoping we can make it Jimmy. Do you have any pictures from when you were here? If you do can you send a couple to my email? I'll pack the disks if we can go.

You are in big trouble. Pam read your list and almost cried. She is so happy about your receiving Christ into your heart. But that is not why you are in trouble. I send flowers and have given Pam a hard covered book of poems I wrote her over the years. But I do fall short on the car door thing. I open it but not always, so NOW I HAVE TO IMPROVE on that ....thanks allot.
I to am pretty romantic, so romantic that I sell my ideas to other guys that find themselves in the dog house, they work 100% of the time and have made a significant improvement on my income.
But really I am proud of you too and it makes me happy to know you spend so much time with Liss and the Kids. It is time well spend and the rewards are more than you will realize until you see the impact you have had on your kids when they grow up.

Oh Mike you made me CRY! My heart is so full! I hate cooked celery too unless it is small and in soup etc. You have a lot in common with Matthew (Barry's son) with the star wars thing. Bryan is an avid shooter etc. It's funny how blood runs. Hey does ANYONE know where all this poetry came from?
