Rick is trying desperately to get out of the hospital and they are trying just as desperately to keep him in. Just as he was ready to have them sign the release papers, they found out his potassium was low. After several hours of promises and a threatened walk-out, they hooked him up to a potassium drip and he whiled away another night in Littondale Ward. This morning it's still low, but I don't know if it's low but better, or no change. If it's low but better, then just give him potassium pills and send him home!
He is angry and frustrated at this point - not a good combination. Hopefully, by the time you read this, Rick will be home and preparing to fire off an angry letter to the NHS.

Thanks for the update Donna. I am sure the old boy is getting antsy by now. It seems to never end doesn't it. I am sure is about to kick and scream. But tell him not to be like mom and pressure too hard top be released only to his detriment.
Sneak him in some Pepsi and a candy bar and tell him I said all will work out!!!!
