A Lesson Learned about Excapism...

So, we're home.  I still hit 50 and I believe Father Time tried to teach me/us a lesson about extravagance and running away from reality.  I won't be uploading any sunny pictures...oh, I might find one or two.  The first two days we were actually able to get in the pool.  A little sun, but mostly clouds.  Thick, heavy, dark clouds.  Did you know it doesn't have to be hurricane season to have monsoon rains?  When I say it poured for days I mean the rain was so heavy and the winds so strong, you couldn't see the beach.  That lasted 2 1/2 days, non-stop.  The remaining time was back to dark clouds and strong winds. The  resort was wonderful.  The food was wonderful.  Good thing, because we ate A LOT.  Truly gourmet resaurants.  The rooms were fabulous.  The service was great.  Our last two nights we had a swim up room, which would have been great if there weren't white caps in the pool.  The morning we got up to leave, we were able to see the sun again.  I actually laid on our private lounge chairs in our swim up pool area for about 10 minutes before we had to leave.  We really couldn't site see or shop much.  Steve did bring something home with him however...you really shouldn't drink the water...

Eileen,
I brought back the same thing that Steve did when Donna and I went to Cancun. Tell him to go see a doctor before it's to late!

Steve did see the doctor. Test for Hep A came back negative thank goodness. Doc says it's better to just keep pooing if your ever going to get rid of this crap...pun intended. Right now I'm not sure which is louder at night, his snoring or his stomach rumbling. At least I don't have to worry about him passing gas...he wouldn't dare the risk!
