Am I Gaining a Son, or Getting Rid of a Daughter...
It's official! Hannah and Shane are engaged! He deploys sometime between May and August. They'll get married when he returns. Steve says he's okay with it. He likes Shane, he just hopes he's up to the challenge ;-) That whole marrying a Laverty woman thing you know. There's something just not right about having your baby of babies get married. I have no details on anything other than, "I looooove him soooo much!" "It's a Princess cut in white gold!" Really, what else matters?

that's really great! How exciting! When you had 5 kids..you must've knows lots of marriages were coming!
Well I have been slow to respond to all of these pasts. I have been dealing with snow, snow and more snow for a couple of weeks now. Just to make matters worse, I have an abscessed front tooth. One that was capped 9 years ago and that cost me 800 bucks. I mention that only because that tooth will be pulled and tossed in the trash. I have a vertical fracture which is the tooth Bruce Nelson broke out out of my mouth when I was twelve, They put it back in and now 44 years later it is still costing money. This time the tooth has to come out, yes right in front and I will have to remove the other cap as a result of my good old buddy and that goes into the trash and I will have to have a good tooth prepared and the bridge made for the three of them. So all of these thousands of dollars and it is not like having a boob job were you are getting something for you money it is more like replacing the tires on your car....No fun, no glory but you need to.
So back you Eileen and the marriages, soon it will be over only Hugh to go and that wedding is up to someone else to pay for. Sop since you will be saving money on Hugh could you send me some to help put with the tooth ordeal?
Seriously congratulations, I can't wait to meet him and give him an official "Jim Laverty Welcome".
