Hello to all in Laverty Land! A few months back I sent a post asking about the next reunion. There were only a couple of responses. You can see them under 2011 Family Reunion. We would like to include everyone and your input is important.
So now that we are in between holidays, some seemed to be snowed in or whatever you're up to - I inagine you have a few spare moments to contemplate where you would like to hold the next reunion.
I hope to hear from everyone. The counter shows many views to our site so someone is looking. (There's a key phrase: Our Site! It belongs to all of us). Now all you need to do is post a comment to participate. It may seem a long time away, but it's good to plan ahead as there are many people coming form all corners of the world.

I still vote for Hawaii...if you're gonna travel anyway..it might as well be wonderful!
As far as Donna and I and the kids go, unfortunately we are not going to be in a position to return to the states in 2011. We are "ify" on 2012 and we return back to the states in June of 2013. So I can't really offer any input.
Hawaii sounds nice - I've never been there. Maybe we could hold the next Family Reunion in Scotland so the family that lives in Europe would have it easier. And Sandy, Europe is a little farther than Hawaii for you, but maybe more doable than the US.

Jim, Barry and I were hoping to go to Europe to see Rick. If I don't go while he and Donna are there, I will probably never go. An inexpensive cruise would be a good choice for us.
I suggested way back when, we consider Colorado/Manitou Springs. Close to your folks so they wouldn't have to travel. Lots of out door activities and not too terribly expensive. Perhaps a 3 day cruise would work. Honestly, we have Philip's wedding this year and it looks like Hannah's in 2011. Those will have to take precedence over any other expenditures. I don't know where Hannah and Shane will be getting married...maybe that can be the reunion :-)
that's true...i could go via singapore..that would be awesome..lol what year are we talking about? I'll be earning a nurse's salary in 2011 (finger's crossed)...could be more doable then for me...
I am broke, This year Pam and I are doing a cruise with bunch of friends that was planed even before Branson, so we are obligated. We even gifted out time share this year. I like Debbie would like to visit England so I can stare at fish and chips and not eat the fish. \As far as a family reunion a cruise would be OK. But I would like to go to Wyoming for a Rodeo. That would be close to Aunt Roberta and Uncle Jim and we would be in the company of mean animals not related to us....So cool
