Hi everyone! Well I got the results of my sleep study. ZI wake up 44 times an hour, on average, and I have restless leg syndrome. My oxygen levels drop so low that if I went to the emergency room I would be admitted. So now I have an explanation for my fatigue and depression! YEAH! Doctors aren't sure if the pain of fibromyalgia keeps people like me from getting proper sleep or if the lack of sleep supports or causes the fibromyalgia. So now I know why I felt like I was dying, literally, and why I haven't had any interest in anything. I was getting to the point that even walking in the woods (a Passion) was getting to be too hard. So anyway, I am on a CPAP machine now and hopefully in a few weeks I should feel like a new woman!! If the room air isn't adequate then I may have to add oxygen to the routine (please pray that I don't need that). When I travel I just take the machine with me and guess what? The airlines have to let me carry it on and can't count it as one of my carry-on bags!!!! So what the heck happened to us that our bodies just don't work right??? I also have a very narrow trachea which exacerbates the problem. Big nose and small trachea - was this supposed to be funny????? Heavy sigh! Anyway I still have my sense of humor. Hey Rick and Eileen, I'm high tech too now - Jim no offense but you aren't invited to this club!!! Just stay normal!
Love to all! Deb

Debbie,
You will do anything to get new parts added. Are you trying to make up for the loss of your gall bladder and who know what else?
That is a hoot I meet with a doctor in March to set up my sleep study. Too much snoring and waking up so my Dr. said let's test you
The last time she wanted to test me she had me turn my head then she asked me for a date. So who knows...... ;-)
Oh my!!!!!!
I'm so glad I got the study done. It was easy - they hook wires to your head, give you a sleeping pill and lights out! Have fun!!

Do you guys remember Daddy falling asleep anywhere in seconds? Snoring like crazy and waking him self up while sitting in "HIS chair"? Classic sleep apnea. That was the first thing they asked me about before I got my pacemaker. Didn't have the study, but my questionaire didn't indicate it. I'm not sure if you know or not, but Lyn had a CPAP machine. Glad you got the diagnosis Deb. You just might feel better ALL over now!
